SHADOCON

I dont think ive mentioned this yet and im not really sure why, probably was avoiding the thought of my ex bf who used to force us to play this game a retarded amount past the part of it being fun, but its totally way worth playing because it really is an awesome series: Fatal Frame. if you ever thought the idea of walking around in a japanese style horror game taking pictures of ghosts to kill them was lame, you are SO wrong. The atmosphere in the game is so eerie and creepy, and even tho that and the jump factor and all that shizzle is enough to make you wanna pee your pants, its the storyline that really keeps you hooked AND provides the most terror. If you really read all of the documents you come across you find so many more connections between the charactes and the games themselves and you learn so much about the freaky rituals and such. Oh and theres also way replay value as when you beat the game on like normal or hard you usually get the 'see' upgrade which opens up even more ghosts and more storyline in the next play thru. The first is probably the creepiest, the second is the pretties (but has a slow boring start XP and takes a while to get into, but is still quite freaky) but the third is the absolute scariest. The first game was in a haunted mansion where time slowly goes backwards to drag you deeper into the horror of the history of the manor. The second in a haunted village that was caught in an endless loop of one night when a ritual failed, over and over until it can be completed. The third takes you back to some of the worst, creepiest, most dreaded parts of the first two games and adds its own new location for horror, your dreams. You find yourself being dragged into a nightmarish hell, an entire village inside of a giant manor that you follow your deceased loved ones into until you are taken over by it and lose yourself to it. But the worst thing of all, in the third game, you get to wake up.
